Canopydew is an offline greenhouse commissioning workspace for iPhone and iPad. It records observations and interventions, compares response windows, and exports review evidence. No sign-in or subscription is required.

Session and sensor setup

Use Session to select a greenhouse plan and commissioning session. Target Schedule opens the hourly target editor; Sensor Review opens sensor placement and calibration documentation. On iPad, session selection appears in the sidebar.

Trace and evidence

Trace displays synchronized observations from sensor positions. Scrub the chart and use Targets, Spatial, and Method to examine tolerances, sensor disagreement, and calculation references. Evidence contains baseline, response, and recovery windows, measured deltas, findings, and revision history. Temporal association does not establish causation.

Capture observations

Use Capture to enter a sensor observation or intervention. Invalid measurements are rejected with a message and the draft remains available for correction. A failed local write must be resolved before the record is considered saved. Canopydew does not read hardware sensors or operate equipment.

Import a trace

In Packet choose Map and Preview Trace CSV, then select columns, units, and timezone. Preview accepted and rejected rows before committing. New imports retain row rejection details with their source receipt. Exports include only the selected session's sources; older receipts may retain rejection counts without row details, which are labeled explicitly.

Export a review packet

Packet offers a complete review packet containing the PDF, observed trace CSV, session JSON, target plan JSON, target schedule CSV, and a rejected-row receipt when applicable. Choose a destination in Apple's share sheet. On iPad, Capture and Packet open from the toolbar. Export copies before deleting records or changing devices; the app has no cloud-sync service.

Recover local data

If saved files cannot be read, their original bytes are preserved and a readable backup is loaded when available. Otherwise the app displays example data with a recovery notice. Packet provides Share preserved original files. If preservation cannot be verified, saving is disabled to protect the originals. Keep any files you need before deleting the app.

Operating boundary

Canopydew does not read sensors, diagnose plants, predict crop performance, or control equipment. Confirm crop-specific targets, calibrated measurements, equipment limits, and current qualified guidance before making operational changes.

Email support@shadowfetch.com with the device model, iOS or iPadOS version, screen involved, and steps that led to the issue. Do not attach confidential operating data unless you are authorized to share it.
